You're Not Alone

I hear your voice and feel your pain

When you are lost, I'm here again

Not for a moment shall you be

alone in darkness,

you will see

The sun will shine and keep you warm

Protect you from the distant storm

Don't be afraid, I will not leave

I'll stay the course if you believe

Take my hand

I'm with you still

Through all the days that silence fills

The nights you think will never end

Til' seasons pass and begin again

I won't let time forget your name

Forever young, you're still the same

I'll never leave, until you're home

My Heart Breaks

I wandered down a path today...

Something softly led the way
A gentle pull I can't explain
I turned around to read your name
Then paused and wondered what had become
Of such a soul who was so young
Never could I have known
The broken lives and shattered home
You left behind the day you died
I closed my eyes and softly cried
When I read the news of your demise
The tears fell freely from my eyes
You met your fate in such a tragic way
It breaks my heart to know today
Yet somehow, somewhere I pray you're at rest
With love and light, forever blessed.
